Fun with the Photo Booth

So Saturday night at Scott and Stephanie's wedding, they had a photo booth set up. This is the first time I have been to a wedding with an actual booth! It took 3 pictures, then printed them out for you as a memory from the night. It was awesome! Cami and Syd were in there taking pictures with everyone that would go in with them! :-)

Yesterday my cousin Scott got married. The morning started off a little stormy, but the day turned out to be beautiful! As always, the girls were really looking forward to dancing the night away and they did just that! My girls definitely love to bust a move on the dance floor!

VBS

Last week the girls had Vacation Bible School at our church. The last couple of years they have started doing it in the evenings so that the working parents children can also participate. I thought this was an AWESOME idea and love that the girls can go and have fun and fellowship with their friends. They also thought it was cool that we were going to "church" at night time! :-)

Here is the 2009 VBS students The theme this year was Gadget Garage and talking about God's Gadget's. Gizmo the robot was a HUGE hit. The girls actually asked me to have their picture taken with him.... usually I'm the one insisting on picture taking!

The last day of VBS was a pool party up at the Mascoutah Pool. Fantastic idea, except who would have thought it would only be 70 degrees in JULY! Never the less, the girls had to get in!

I was in pants and a sweatshirt while the girls were in their swimsuits! Nuts!

First Slumber Party with Friends

Cami and Syd were invited to their first slumber party at a friends house. Hannah turned 6 and she got to invite a couple friends over to spend the night. The girls were super exited and really felt like "big girls"! I joined Cindie over at their house to help her with the festivities and Scott and Bob went out on the town and definitely enjoyed the freedom of bachelorhood that evening. We swapted houses, I slept over there and Scott slept over at our place. Next time it's going to be Cindie and I's turn and they get to keep the kids for the night! :-)

WE DID IT!

This morning Bob and I ran in our first 5K over in STL at the MLB All Star Celebrity 5K Run. It was a great experience for the both of us and it was great that we could do it together. My dear friend Amy has been training with me for a few weeks now all in preparation for this run.

Yes, I was a real nerd and brought my camera with me to the race... I wanted to capture this momentous occasion for us.

Tball Pool Party

Lets see... 2 Sunday's ago was our last t-ball game for the season. (I'm a little late on the post, I know...) The girls had a great time and are already talking about next season!!! That makes Bob VERY happy! At their last game, they all received medals - here is a picture of our 2009 Moto Mart Team!

After the game, we were invited to a t-ball pool party!!! The girls absolutely couldn't wait for this! That's all they kept talking about!!!!

Coach Chip had a surprise for all the kids - he had trophy's made with all the kids names on them! Cami and Syd's trophy was even of a little girl! A very special remembrance for them.

Coach Chip's wife Melinda made this cake for the party. Isn't it AWESOME!?!?! She's so talented and thoughtful! The cake was definitely a hit and also delicious!

Happy 5th of July!

What a crazy 4th of July this year has been! The weather is totally unbelievable! I got the girls these cute little summer dresses, but it was too darn cold for them to wear them! Today, we headed up to the park to enjoy Zion's foodstand since the picnic was cancelled yesterday - the park is a muddy mess... It really is a shame because a lot of hard work goes into this picnic with all the food stands and such. And - I don't remember temps being this cold before in July!!!

Here they are having some fun with the poppers! Bob gave the girls $4 bucks to spend how they wanted to and they came back with 72 of them!!!! Holy Cow!

Yummy, Yummy - I think we tried just about everyone's food stands today at the park! A Shmorgasboard of food! Of course, Zion's Asian food being our favorite! :-)

Okay, so after all the strings that flew out of those poppers - it was clean up time and here is the shot I got!!!! HA!!! Poor Cam has no butt to hold her pants up...
