Saturday we took the girls to see Madagascar 2. It was great movie! Here are Syd and Cami getting ready for the show! They were so excited to go see the "move-it, move-it" movie show! In the commercial they sing that song and that's what they thought the name of the movie was! So they were dancing in their seats when the animals sang that song! Another New Hairdo!

My goodness, I can't believe it's been over a week since my last post!!!! CRAZINESS!!!!! Let's see... last weekend we were in a trivia contest for the Boys and Girls Club over in STL - we got 2nd place plus $20 bucks each! Exciting! Monday night I went to the NKOTB concert (pictures to come) - amazing concert!
Okay! More importantly - Syd and Cam got new haircuts!!!! And - they look adorable!
Sydney decided she wanted to go short!!!! It looks fantastic on her! She looks so much older now (sniff, sniff).
Cami wanted to keep it so she could put a pony tail in still, but then tonight she decided she "thinks" she might want it like Syd. So... Holli said we could come back on Saturday if she changed her mind. Stay tuned! :-)

Cold Monday!

The weekend is over - oh how it goes by way too fast! Friday night we went to the Japanese Garden with our Club Cross group from church. We had a wonderful time, I really enjoy going to this restaurant. The food is excellent and it's always a good time watching them make your dinner right in front of you. Before we left for dinner, I looked out the back door and spotted this beautiful rainbow that God blessed us with.

Pictures from the Japanese Garden.
Our chef was really funny.
Fire shooting out of the onion stack.
I'm home today with 2 sick kids. Cami's got the worst of it though. They started with colds on Saturday, but with colds - for us comes the asthma. They coughed a lot through the night. Cami woke up with a terrible bloody nose that got over every piece of bedding, the story was that she got up and walked into the wall?!?!?!? Whatever the story, it was a mess! Bob is on his way to Minnesota, he just called to tell me he was currently driving through snow. I'm definitely not ready for that here, yet!

2nd Annual Oktoberfest

Saturday we had the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest sponsored by good friends of mine, Lisa and Beth. Last year was a Mascoutah scavenger hunt, this year... Crazy Olympics. There were 12 games total, but you got extra points for drinking (chugging) a beverage between games. The team with the most points, WON! We came in 3rd place and only won 1 out of 12 games... so what that boils down to is... there was a lot of drinkin going on - and mostly by - MY HUSBAND! Bob actually came in 1st place for the most beverages consumed.... oh yeah, proud moment.....

Here we are at the donut eating contest. Which team could eat 20 powdered donuts without taking a drink - the fastest? We lost (Bob's got a choking thing going on..).
This is how much of our puzzle we got finished before this game was over and someone else already finished theirs.... wow... we were terrible!
Angie and Lisa aka The Coordinator!
Amy and Dan during the cracker eating contest. We lost this one too...
Team Cameltoe.... Anyone care to guess who came up with the name?!?!? BOB!
The pumpkin toss - WE ACTUALLY WON THIS ONE!!!!!
Dizzy Bats - WOW - now this is a game... You had to spin around 5 times, then run to the cones and back. The first time I did it, I fell - so DIZZY - and Kara managed to leap over me like a frog - it was very impressive!!!!
Here is Bob! Here is Amy!

Who has Heterochromia?

Heterochromia is the presence of different colored eyes in the same person. Heterochromia iridis is rare, affecting fewer than 200,000 people in the United States.
Known people who have Heterochromia? Alexander the Great, Dan Aykroyd, Camryn Walter, David Bowie and Carly Simon.

I bet you can guess whose beautiful eyes these are!!!!
Cami and Syd went to the Pediatric Opthamologist yesterday at Cardinal Glennon. They were both given eye exams and passed with flying colors.
