Easter 2009

Easter 2009 was a blast for the girls this year. First and most importantly, the girls and I went to church to celebrate and rejoice in the real reason of Easter. Poor Bob was at home working, it was his holiday to work this year. After church, the girls and I headed home to pick up dad and then we were off to Mama and Papa Weier's house for lunch with the Weier and Manning families.

I think this basket was from Mama and Papa Weier. And.. they're off. The quest for the Golden Egg. This year Uncle Denny and Aunt Val turned it into a scavenger hunt. The girls had an absolute blast with it (and so did the adults!!!!). There were about 8 clues that the girls had to work through, hop through, skip through and find. Not only was there a scavenger hunt, the yard was full of eggs, many of which were filled with money!!! Watch out Disney World!!

I got a new video camera, so I was doing the video's and Bob was in charge of the camera. Off to the front yard for another clue!And the clue is found...

Victory! Cami and Syd spotted it at the same time hidden in a tree. Cami lets Syd show it off. What a gracious sister! And for the prize - HILBILLY GOLF! We can't wait to play it in the backyard once the weather gets warmer and the rain goes away!Syd and Cam checking out all their goodies. They really raked it in this year!

After the Weier/Manning gathering we headed over to the Walter/Ganz gathering at Peggy and Kenny's house. It's dinner time! Look at all those kids!!!! :-) We also had an egg hunt out there - but holy cow was it cold!!!! All the kids found their eggs and headed indoors!

Jamison's 2nd Birthday Bash

We celebrated Jamison's 2nd Birthday on Saturday. Katy knows how to throw quite the birthday bash! Thanks Katy and Justin for the very enjoyable afternoon!

Syd and Cam enjoyed playing outside in the rain today - thanks to Aunt Liz, Uncle Nick and the boys for the rain gear they got for their birthday! New umbrella's and rain boots.

Cheer Camp!

Last weekend Cami and Syd went to the Wesclin Cheer Camp. Our weekend babysitter, Courtney, asked if the girls could come to her high school and be in the cheer camp that her and her cheerleading team were doing. There were several age groups and Courtney was teaching the 5 year olds. Courtney goes to our church and is a Junior at Wesclin. When I was in high school, I babysat her and her brother and now she is babysitting Cami and Syd. Very cool. Anyways, the girls stayed there and then the parents came back in the afternoon to watch them perform what they had learned. One of the cheers said - ORANGE AND BLACK - we changed that to PURPLE AND WHITE... sorry Courtney!
