Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Today everyone is feeling great and ready to get out in that snow. As soon as we got home from work and Ms. Tia's we got on our snow clothes and headed out. We quickly realized that the snow wasn't "snowlady making" snow quite yet, so it looks like we will be doing the same thing tomorrow when we get home! But - nonetheless, the girls had a great time playing outside!
Oh yeah.. did I mention that we make snowladies and not snowmen? Growing up we always made snowladies, my dad was always out numbered by us girls! So is Bob.
Looks like we got 7 inches!!!
The girls try at a snowlady..maybe tomorrow night. Here's Cami all bundled up!
Syd posing for me!
Sydney is attempting to pull Cam is the sled
Aunt Nicole came over to join in on the fun (yes, that REALLY is Aunt Nicole!)
The snow fun wouldn't be complete without a family pic!
This was Ellie's first time in the snow. She's not a fan of it! The snow is taller than she is!

A couple week re-cap

Good Morning! I am home today because Sydney has been up all night puking.... we should have figured this was coming since we were up all night Saturday night with Camryn doing the exact same thing. Cami was completely fine by that day, so hopefully Syd will have a quick turn around too. I'm sure the girls are going to be going crazy wanting to get out and play in the snow that we got last night!

This does give me a chance to update my blog though! I'll have to go through a few re-caps. Last Saturday we went out with Joe/Tia, Jama/Dave and Niki/Tom. We had dinner at Vin de Set (had the most amazing cheesecake!), then headed to the Fox to see Larry the Cable Guy. He was hilarious!!!!

This past weekend the girls were supposed to have a play date with Tanner on Sunday, but since Cami was sick Saturday night we didn't want to take the chance of giving it to Tanner. The girls were completely devistated, since they haven't gotten to see him for a few weeks - Tanner has started "big boy" school and no longer goes to Ms. Tia's. After an hour long crying jag because we had to cancel, Bob and I got to see a glimpse into our future of what it's going to be like when the girls get older and start having "boyfriends". WOW. Here is a picture of the girls with Tanner over the summer when we had "the Tia group" over for a BBQ.

Sunday evening we were also suppose to have dinner over at the Queener's house. So Bob called over to Scott and told him the situation. Hannah and Sophia both had coughs, so they decided to call it a wash - so that evening the girls had a blast playing with the Queener girls. Hopefully we didn't give them the stomach bug and hopefully they didn't give us colds/coughs! :-) Although now that Syd got sick last night, I'm sure they are going to be wishing they never called it a wash!

Hannah, Sydney and Camryn will all be heading to Kindergarten at Mascoutah Elementary in August. We are hoping our girls will all be in the same class! Fingers crossed!

I love seeing my girls playing with anything musical! I would love for them to play the piano/organ like I did!

Last night after I picked the girls up from Tia's - they had haircut appointments. Cami decided this time she wanted her hair cut shorter like Syd's was last time. Sydney has decided though that now she just wants trims because she is going to try to let it grow long again! Decisions, decisions. (I must have unknowingly had my camera on a wierd setting, because they came out a little blurry)

Here is my Cami girl with her new short hair!

Sydney posing with her fresh haircut!

I hope everyone has a great "snow day" today!!!!

Happy 33rd Birthday Daddy!

Today is Bob's birthday. Yesterday the girls (and I) made daddy a birthday cake, then they got to decorate it! Bring on the sprinkles!!!! That was their favorite part of baking a cake! He wanted to go to dinner tonight at the German restaurant in town, so off we headed whenever we both got home from work. We got there, and it is closed on Monday's. BUMM-ER! So we drove through town and ended up having a lovely meal at Tony's Place. Then, we rushed home to dig into the girls homemade birthday cake! Daddy loved the cake, but said it was a little crunchy. :-)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!!

Fun Spot!

On Saturday, my Mothers of Multiples group rented out the Fun Spot skating rink. This was the girls first time roller skating outside of our little patio in the backyard. So they definitely felt big time out there - and - it took Bob and I back to our adolescent years. It was a great time and the best part was that it was just our group, so it was easy to keep track of the girls, even walking with our tennis shoes out on the floor to help them - but it didn't take them long and they wanted to go at it alone.
Here are the girls first in the little kiddie rink. Cami getting into it, steadying herself.
Sydney rocking out to the music they played.
Not long after, they made it out on the main floor - loving every moment of it.
Here you can see the girls out there being super skaters (in the stripped shirts). And we finished the night off with a slushy from the snack bar... oh it took me back.

Goodbye Uncle Doug!

Tonight we met up with Doug (kids too this time) to say goodbye to him since he will be leaving next week. We went to dinner at PF Changs - oh - and it was yummy! When we left, it was snowing - all the kids were so excited! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
Unfortunately Uncle Nick, Aunt Liz and the boys couldn't join us.
Uncle Nick is recovering from shoulder surgery. We wish him a speedy recovery!
Here is Uncle Doug with all his girls.

Here are the girls with their chop sticks! They found out quickly that a fork is MUCH easier when eating rice!Jami using her chop sticks for drumming! Excellent Idea! Jamison and her mommy

Madagascar 2

Saturday we took the girls to see Madagascar 2. It was great movie! Here are Syd and Cami getting ready for the show! They were so excited to go see the "move-it, move-it" movie show! In the commercial they sing that song and that's what they thought the name of the movie was! So they were dancing in their seats when the animals sang that song! Kirstie, Syd and Cami enjoying their popcorn!
