First Syd, now Cam!

4 weeks ago today we had a very momentous occasion in the Walter family. Sydney lost her first tooth! Daddy actually pulled it in the Steak-n-Shake parking lot while they waited for me to get off work and meet them for dinner!!!!! :-)
Well.. this morning before school - Cami lost her first tooth too! Same tooth as Sydney did (of course, would we expect anything different?!?!?!?). Daddy also pulled this tooth for Cami. He has become our "tooth puller"! He said his Aunt Peggy was also the tooth puller in their family - he got the "use a Kleenex to get a good grip" move from her!

Kristie Got Married!!!!!

October 10th my cousin Kristie got married!!!! She was such a beautiful bride! It was a very special day for all of us and I was honored to be a part of it all. I was the Maid of Honor and the girls were both flower girls. Here are a few pictures from the special day - I took 542 pictures, but I'm sure none of you want to look through them all! If you do, I put them up on facebook! :-)

All us girls!

Kristie and Mike got an Excursion limo for all of us to ride around in. It was huge!

We stopped for a quick drink at Demo's

One of our stops was at The Shrine. It was an absolutely beautiful day! Picture Perfect!
Cami and Syd doing what they do best!!!!! Dancing the night away!
This was Sydney. She crashed. Cami fell asleep for about 30 minutes, woke up and got back on the dance floor! They were such troopers that night! We ended up back at the hotel around 12:45AM - they hung in there right along with us!
Now we are all patiently waiting for a little Hogue baby! The sooner the better!

SIX FLAGS!

A couple of weekends ago Bob's work treated us to a day at Six Flags! It had been a VERY long time for both Bob and I since we'd visited and this was Cami and Syd's first time there. The weather was AMAZING, this had to of been the first time I'd ever wore jeans to Six Flags!

This was Cami and Syd's first BIG roller coaster - they are finally tall enough! These girls are absolute thrill seekers - we rode this one 3 times! The lines were no more than 10 minutes on the day we went. This ride was called Tony Hawk's Big Spin.
Cam and Syd coming off with huge smiles on their faces. Bob rode the first time around, but the next 2 he sat out. I love roller coasters and of course the girls needed a chaperone!!!!

THE SCREAMIN' EAGLE! Another one of the girls favorites. I think we rode this one at least twice... Bob and I both had a realization that our bodies don't quite take the rides as well as they used too. Both of us were sore the next day from being jerked around so much! HA!

Bob looks pretty frightened with Cami behind the wheel...

The Walter-Hood Movie Night

Last night we teamed up with Marc and Lisa for a co-hosted OUTDOOR movie night! We are very lucky to share backyards with very good friends of ours - so we decided to have a movie night. Bob being the awesome electronic guy he is set up the equipment and sound AND Marc being the handyman he is built an outdoor screen! Lisa and I got all the food and goodies together! Our double feature turned into a triple feature because everyone was having such a great time! We watched - I Love You Man, Super Troopers and The Hangover. Fun, Fun evening! I see many more of these in our future!

The Hosts and HostessesBob and Lisa - Lisa holding the theater snacks!
Lisa and I with the popcorn bags for everyone - you can see the huge screen in the background! Isn't that AWESOME!!!! Lisa, myself and Amy Morra.
A section of the movie watchers!

All About Pumpkins

Fall is definitely here! Seems like we actually skipped fall and went right to winter! Brrr. The girls have been doing lot of fun fall activites the last couple of weeks. I've been a blog slacker... So now you'll get it all in 1 post! :-)
Here are the girls painting their pumpkins with Kirstie. We had Ms. Tia and her family over for dinner and a bonfire a couple of weeks ago and I thought this would be a fun treat for the kids. Except.. I got washable paint, so the next night it rained and there went their paint job... whoops.
Sydney
Cami
Zion's Fall Festival was last weekend. They had lots of great things for the kids to do and play. They even had a Mascoutah Fire Truck there for the kids to explore. Lots of fun and great food too! Here is Camryn trying her luck at the bean toss.
Pumpkin painting. They is Syd's pumpkin, I thought it was so cute and sweet that she put all of our names on her pumpkin. :-)
Cami got her face painted!
Syd waits ALL YEAR for the fall festival so she can help Ms. Karen with the caramel apples. They are delicious!
Eldon Ahner made a train for the kids to ride on and he drives them all around the church property with his golf cart! Very inventive!
On Tuesday the girls had a field trip to go pumpkin picking! I took the day off so I could go with them. I figure that I'll never get these years back and it's worth using a vacation day. I love watching them interact with their classmates and their friends.
Cami found her pumpkin. It was so fun actually going out into the orchards to pick our pumpkins! I'm not sure I've ever done that before - usually they are all pre-picked and you choose from a mound of them! The day we went was VERY chilly and misty. I should have wore my winter coat!!! Mrs. Waddell's rules were that you could only pick a pumpkin big enough to carry yourself. I loved those rules!

Ever, Cami and Sydney - so cute. Ever calls them both "best friend" because I don't think she can tell them apart quite yet.
