Kristie and Mike are ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy to announce that Mike has asked Kristie to marry him. I couldn't be happier for the two of them. Kristie called me last night from their weekend trip to Branson where Mike popped the question. She also asked me to be the Maid of Honor and I couldn't be more honored! I'm so excited for the two of them!
CONGRATULATIONS MIKE AND KRISTIE!

Aaron and Julie's Wedding

Last Saturday, Aaron and Julie got married from the Walter side of the family. Cami and Sydney love weddings, so they were super excited. 2 weekends in a row! Here are a few pictures from our evening.

I loved the balloon bride and groom, so of course we had to get a picture with them!

Fabulous Friday Night!

Friday night we had a fabulous spur of the moment get together at our house. Joe, Dave and Bob had a golf date in Lebanon and asked us girls to meet up with them afterwards for dinner with the kids. So instead of dragging all the kids to a restaurant, we decided to just order pizza and have dinner at our place. Bob ended up getting out our firepit that has never been used. It was fantastic! The girls loved sitting around the fire and it was a beautiful night to sit outside! I definitely hope we get more use out of the firepit before winter arrives!

Prayer for Luke

I would like to ask my blog readers to say a little prayer for our dear friend Luke Morra. He has been hospitalized at Children's hospital with an infection in his head at the incision area of the cochlear implant. They are giving him heavy antibiotics at this time, which is also causing some side effects. The doctors say today that the area looks better, but still not 100%. The doctor's think it could possibly be celulitis. So if you guys could pray for healing for our little guy, I would be very appreciative.

Bonnie's Wedding

Last Saturday my cousin Bonnie got married. The girls LOVE going to weddings - especially getting to dance! They danced the night away - a lot of times it was just Cami and Syd on the dance floor, but they didn't care!

YMCA!

Cami, Kylie and Syd This picture has a bit of a story... Sydney chair danced a good chunk of the evening. She kept getting poop cramps out on the dance floor while she was shaking her groove thang. Well, she didn't want to leave for even 5 minutes to go to the bathroom, so she would sit in this chair when she would get one and chair dance until it went away. She then would get back up and dance, dance, dance - uh oh, get another poop cramp and chair dance until it went away. This went on for a majority of the evening. We got a good laugh from it, but she was very adamant about not leaving the dance floor! Me with my beautiful girls. Here is Clay and Kristie. We are very proud of Clay - last night he graduated from the St.Louis Police Academy - he is now a St. Louis Police Officer. CONGRATULATIONS, please stay safe!!!!

Apple Pickin'

Sunday after church, we headed out to Eckert's Orchard for apple picking with the Morra Family. The girls had an absolute blast. This was our first time actually riding the tractor out to the orchards and picking our own apples off the trees. Every other year we have went it has been so dusty out that we just decide to get the apples out of the bins rather than take the chance of fighting the dust with the girls asthma. Not this year! We couldn't have asked for better weather! It was gorgeous! After Eckert's we headed to our normal Morra/Walter hotspot for lunch - McDonalds! Then, off to the park for some more play time. That evening mom and dad had us over for my birthday dinner of choice - beef and noodles! Always a family favorite!
Here the kids are getting ready for the tractor ride.

Off we go! Syd found her first apple! Cami wanted in on the action! All the kids showing off their prize apples, Luke couldn't wait to tear into his! Family Photo Opp! How lucky are we to have such a tall daddy?!?! We got the best pick of the apples!
