Tball Pool Party

Lets see... 2 Sunday's ago was our last t-ball game for the season. (I'm a little late on the post, I know...) The girls had a great time and are already talking about next season!!! That makes Bob VERY happy! At their last game, they all received medals - here is a picture of our 2009 Moto Mart Team!

After the game, we were invited to a t-ball pool party!!! The girls absolutely couldn't wait for this! That's all they kept talking about!!!!
Coach Chip had a surprise for all the kids - he had trophy's made with all the kids names on them! Cami and Syd's trophy was even of a little girl! A very special remembrance for them.
Coach Chip's wife Melinda made this cake for the party. Isn't it AWESOME!?!?! She's so talented and thoughtful! The cake was definitely a hit and also delicious!

Happy 5th of July!

What a crazy 4th of July this year has been! The weather is totally unbelievable! I got the girls these cute little summer dresses, but it was too darn cold for them to wear them! Today, we headed up to the park to enjoy Zion's foodstand since the picnic was cancelled yesterday - the park is a muddy mess... It really is a shame because a lot of hard work goes into this picnic with all the food stands and such. And - I don't remember temps being this cold before in July!!!
Here they are having some fun with the poppers! Bob gave the girls $4 bucks to spend how they wanted to and they came back with 72 of them!!!! Holy Cow!
Cami enjoying her Root Beer float after all the dancing she did!
Yummy, Yummy - I think we tried just about everyone's food stands today at the park! A Shmorgasboard of food! Of course, Zion's Asian food being our favorite! :-)
Okay, so after all the strings that flew out of those poppers - it was clean up time and here is the shot I got!!!! HA!!! Poor Cam has no butt to hold her pants up...
We hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July yesterday! We are off to see the postponed fireworks!

Lake Kinkaid

Saturday we went boating with Joe and Tia. This was the girls first boating experience and boy did they have a blast! Their favorite part was going tubing, I have to admit I was a little nervous about it, but they held on tight and did GREAT! We had a great time and the lake was beautiful!

All the boys of course had to be the dare devils and go off this huge cliff.

Grant's Farm

A couple of Sunday's ago our favorite Kentucky family came to town, so we decided to get a group of us together and head over to Grant's Farm. The kids had a blast feeding the goats and camels and the adults got to enjoy 2 FREE beers! It really is a neat place, hopefully it sticks around after this InBev takeover...
Cami, Grace and Syd
Here is Caleb sporting Bob's favorite IL colors!!!!! Amy surprised us and put him in this for the day - we got it for him when he was born. The girls wanted this lizard thing to lick them... no fear!
BUST OUT THE HAND SANITIZER!!!!
Some STL history...
Sydney was very serious about feeding her goats!
Caleb's not sure what to think about this...

A Walter Wedding

Saturday we went to Bob's cousin Meghan's wedding. The girls LOVE to dance so they were very much looking forward to this day.

Cami, Uncle Nick and Syd - the girls with their Godfather
Nick's a lucky guy!!!!
Me with Mr. Noah
Cami giving Noah a taste of the delicious cake!
Dance, Dance, Dance
Cami, Aunt Katy and Jamison
Sydney and Joshua stopped dancing only for a second so I could take this picture. They were partnered up most of the night out on the dance floor - they had a blast twirling each other!
Action shot!
While we were at the wedding - Nicholas lost a tooth!
They had this awesome candy bar at the reception - I'm not sure if Syd was totally exhausted from all the dancing she did or if she is about to pass out from the sugar high she was on!

A Mani and A Pedi

Saturday Bob was in a golf tournament, so the girls and I had a girls day out with Ms. Tia and Kirstie. Her husband Joe was also in the golf tournament with Bob. For lunch we met up at St. Louis Bread Co, then off we went for our spa treatments. This was Cami and Syd's first manicure and pedicure and boy did they feel like queen's for a day! The day was excellent and definitely needed (for me) - I have been working a lot of long hours these past couple of weeks. And, afterwards we did a little shopping. Doesn't get much better than that!
Sooo.... the funniest part of this is... Sunday the girls had a t-ball game. Cami must have chipped a nail so she yells from the outfield, during the middle of the game I might add - MOM WHEN WE GET HOME WILL YOU PAINT MY FINGER NAIL!?!?!? Bob looks over at me with an absolute look of disgust as everyone heard what she yelled and there was quite a laughter going on. Ahhh the joys of having little girls!

Cami getting her nails done.
And here is Sydney.
Syd getting her toes painted.
Cami super excited about her leg massage.
Syd very relaxed and enjoying her getting a fancy flower put on her toe nail.
Kirstie feeling very tickle-ish from her foot rub.
The finished product - Our beautiful toes! No.. I'm not showing a picture of my freak toe!
All the fingers and all the toes!

Khoury Cardinal Night

First I'm going to start off with a couple pictures from last Sunday's TBall game. then there will be the ballpark pics. It was so funny, the girls even stopped game play to pose for me. I was trying to get a couple action shots of them, but I guess they are so used to having me stop them and smile at the camera, they just figured they should do it here too! I'm trying to play blog catch-up, I've got several events to post, time in the evenings after I get home from work is slipping away from me. But, I'll try to get them up this week!

This is Syd with her hitting coach, aka daddy.

And this is Cami.

The Khoury league had a night at the ballpark and all the teams got to walk around the field.
