Go Pack Go

Today Bob and I went to the Packers vs. Rams game at the Dome. This was my very first professional football game that I have seen live. I really enjoyed it - but I have to say I probably enjoy it more sitting at home in my comfy clothes, laying on the couch chilling out! BUT - it was great that another fun memory was made with my hubby! :-)

Self portrait!
It was a GREAT game - the Packers WON! Bob and I had a great time at the game....THEN THIS IS WHAT WE SAW - we were robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got out to our car and it had been broken into - in broad daylight! Our car along with 30+ more vehicles in that parking lot all had been broken into. They got Bob's laptops, GPS, IPOD, flash drives, the entire car was ransacked. It was a sudden horrible, horrible feeling. Everyone is safe and that's all that matters - I just wish someone had seen this going on and these people would be caught! They broke in under the lock on the door handle. JERKS!
The girls were over at my parents house while we were at the Packers game. We headed out there after making our police report and mom and dad fed us dinner - comfort food. :-) Cami and Syd went on a "hayride" in the back of Scott's truck as they went and got a couple of stalks of corn - they got a total kick out of that!
YE-HAW!

Joshua's Birthday Party

Our nephew Joshua celebrated his 4th birthday in August. Liz's theme for the party was all about baseball - so everyone was wearing their favorite team. And - all the food was everything you could think of when you go to eat at the Card's game! Fun Times!

Joshua - the birthday boy!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you!
Our sweet Mr. Noah

Fun times on the bouncey slide!
OUR TWINS! This was a gift from the Walter siblings when the girls were born and they are finally able to fit in it! WOO HOO!
Joshua taking a swing at the BASEBALL pinata!
Everyone grabbing for the candy!
Something suspicious going on with these 3 under the slide - I think they were trying to see how much candy they could throw down!

Surprise Weekend Get-away!

I just have the most wonderful husband in the world. Last weekend as a surprise he whisked me away for the night. We went over to the Millennium Hotel for an overnight stay. First we went to this awesome Martini Bar that was located in the hotel - then SURPRISE - here shows up our good friends Amy and Dan! WOO HOO! 2 surprises! After several Martini's, we walked over to have dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House at the Hyatt (formerly the Adam's Mark). It was amazing food - the plates were 500 degrees! Your food definitely didn't get cold! Then, on Sunday morning we had brunch on top of the hotel at the revolving roof top restaurant. Every kind of food you can imagine. We all rolled ourselves out of there. It was a wonderful over-night excursion! Great Husband and Great Friends!
Here are pictures from the Martini Bar. Awesome view!
Amy and Dan - Dan got this awesome Martini, the rim was lined with POP ROCKS! He was the only one brave enough to try it!
Our Stop Light of Martini's!
On our walk home from eating we got this awesome photo opp!
Back at the hotel - just relaxing in the luxurious hotel robes!
View from the room. AMAZING!

First Day of School

Monday was Cami and Syd's first full day of school all by themselves. They did great - I knew they would. They were little chatter boxes all the way home!
They already met a couple new friends and even they both think a boy in their class is "cute"... oh boy....
For recess they cheered on cousin Nicholas as he played basketball! How cute is that!?!?!?!

The girls getting off the school bus. They LOVED the school bus - they couldn't wait until they were big girls and go to big girl school just so they could ride the school bus!
After school I took them for an ice cream treat at McDonald's! Here's Cam.

Kindergarten Meet and Greet

Today Cami and Syd got to go to school to meet their teacher, Mrs. Waddell, and see their classroom! Mom and Dad got to be there too to watch in excitement.
Thank you to Mama Weier for taking them shopping and getting them their new first day of school dresses. Also thanks to Aunt Nicole and Aunt Peggy for getting them new hair accessories to wear to big girl school!
They loved every minute of being there. Monday is their first official first day where they go the whole day - without mom and dad. [butterflies in MY stomach...]

Preschool Graduates

Today Syd and Cam officially graduated from PreSchool at Ms. Tia's. I can't believe they are starting Kindergarten in just a couple of days. It just amazes me how quickly the last 5 years have went.

Here is Sydney walking to get her diploma....
And here comes Camryn....
