Camden Michael is here!

Kristie delivered a beautiful baby boy last Tuesday, Camden Michael. He weighed in at 8lbs 3 oz. She was a total trooper, 1 push and he was out. The girls were so excited to go over there and meet him. I had taken pictures of him in the hospital to show them, but they couldn't wait to get their hands on him. And, to make sure Kristie was okay. They've had many "baby" questions the past couple months with Aunt Katy also have Gideon not so long ago.

Here is Cami holding baby Camden. He has the cutest little expression on his face.

SUMMERTIME FUN:
Here are a couple pictures I've taken of the girls playing outside. Here they are in Mama and Papa's "pool" - they have the best time playing in it, I remember Nicole used to love swimming in this thing too when she was about their age. It's big enough to hold 2 rafts though and it cools you off!

Hola!

Hola my little seniorita's! It was great talking to you both last night! We are having a great time here, but miss you guys soooo much! Yesterday mom and dad got massages, I'll give you both one when I get home because I know you love massages as much as mommy does. We met new friends yesterday at the pool and had dinner with them last night, they are from Canada. I got you both something really pretty today, I am so excited. You are both going to love it. I love you guys and I'll call you again tonight.

Here is daddy relaxing by the pool.
Here is one of the really neat pools here, it's a pool that looks like it goes right into the ocean.

Time to play catch up!

My goodness how time just zooms on by! I can't believe it's almost summer already. I keep telling myself I'll do a blog post tonight after the girls go down, but then time slips away from me. So, here is a whole bunch of Walter family fun times all lumped into 1 blog post.
Cami and Syd had their first piano recital a couple of weekends ago. They did a great job, each played 3 songs. I asked them if they were nervous, neither one said yes. They both said - "mom we know our songs, that's why we practice"! Yes, indeed!

Walter Family photo opportunity.
Mama, Papa and Aunt Nicole came to watch. They even brought them flowers. So thoughtful and special!
Last week the girls finished up Awana classes for the season at First Baptist. They loved each and every week and can't wait for it to start back up again in September. I love how excited they are to go and learn about God each week. Very Heartwarming.
The Walter and Queener girls at the Awana completion ceremony. Hannah invited the girls to come with them as her guests one week and they've been hooked ever since!
Just a silly picture of the girls. Everyone knows they LOVE to eat and fruit they can't get enough of. We went to Sam's to look for a new TV and this is what we came home with. A big basket of fruit and tomatoes... and... no TV.
Fredbird came out to meet the t-ball kids awhile back. This is Fredbird signing Camryn's ball glove. She was super excited to have his autograph!
And this was Sydney's reaction. Hiding under a picnic table. Bob and I both had visions of our Disney trip flash before our eyes.... :-) But, her "boyfriend" Joey from her class and from her tball team took a frisbee over to Fredbird and asked him to sign it for her. AHHHH, so darn sweet and thoughtful of him!!!!!! He's gonna be one Bob and I are going to have to watch out for!
This is the "beauty" part of the team at the Mascoutah Elemetary Trivia night! Last year we came in 3rd, this year I think it was 5th. We didn't win, but we had a GREAT time!
And last, but not least, Bob's 1/2 marathon pictures. This would be him BEFORE the race, looking all chipper. I love the background in this one.
And me, his cheering section! My dear friend Amy was also with me cheering him on!
This was him at about mile 5 I think it was. I was so excited to actually see him, there were just so many people in the race and in the crowd. And, I got to see him again at the end of the race too! Just perfect timing! It was a great achievement and goal for him.

Happy Mother's Day

To all the wonderful mom's out there that read my blog, I would like to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. As I was thinking about Mother's Day, it made me think back to one of the happiest days of my life, the day I met my angels and became a mom myself. I'll never forget that day as it was filled with a basket full of emotions.

The first time I got to hold both of my girls together.

The first time I got to hold Sydney.

And the first time I got to meet Camryn.

And here we are now, 6 years later. This also made me realize I need to start handing the camera over to Bob because the pictures of me with my angels are few! I cherish all the wonderful memories we have had together and look forward to making new ones.
Happy Mother's Day everyone! May you all have a wonderful weekend spending it with your children and families.

T-Ball 2010

The 2010 TBall season has begun, unfortunately it's been a wet start. Their first 2 games were both cancelled due to rain or the fields being too wet. The girls are definitely ready to get their game on! Their team is sponsored again this year by Moto Mart and Bob is the head coach along with 2 other assistant coaches. There can never be too many coaches when you are dealing with eleven 6 year olds! Hopefully this weekend the rain will stay away and the kids will be able to play!

Proud Daddy
Go Team Moto Mart!
