First Day of School

Monday was Cami and Syd's first full day of school all by themselves. They did great - I knew they would. They were little chatter boxes all the way home!

They already met a couple new friends and even they both think a boy in their class is "cute"... oh boy....

For recess they cheered on cousin Nicholas as he played basketball! How cute is that!?!?!?!

Kindergarten Meet and Greet

Today Cami and Syd got to go to school to meet their teacher, Mrs. Waddell, and see their classroom! Mom and Dad got to be there too to watch in excitement.

Thank you to Mama Weier for taking them shopping and getting them their new first day of school dresses. Also thanks to Aunt Nicole and Aunt Peggy for getting them new hair accessories to wear to big girl school!

They loved every minute of being there. Monday is their first official first day where they go the whole day - without mom and dad. [butterflies in MY stomach...]

Preschool Graduates

Today Syd and Cam officially graduated from PreSchool at Ms. Tia's. I can't believe they are starting Kindergarten in just a couple of days. It just amazes me how quickly the last 5 years have went.

Fun Times at the Homecoming

This weekend was the good ol Mascoutah Homecoming. Of course we spent every moment we could up there eating fish sandwiches, potato pancakes and funnel cakes! Plus the girls wanted to ride every possible ride they could! Friday night we went up there for dinner with my parents and the Morra family.

Slurpie Time!

We went across to the tractor pull and met up with Aunt Nicole. While we were over there we found a lost child. He was only 2 years old at the max. For 45 minutes, the parents were paged and we waited.... and waited... and waited... we didn't even see anyone frantically looking around (like I would be doing!). Finally the dad came up and claimed him. Scary, Scary.

We went up again on Sunday for lunch before the parade and more fun rides! This time we hooked up with the Walter boys, Aunt Katy and Ms. Jami for some fun, fun, fun!

Beautiful Flower Girls

Cami and Syd were flower girls in Bob's cousin Mandy's wedding this weekend. They'd been counting down the days until they got to walk down the aisle. Thursday night we had the rehearsal dinner, so here are a few pictures from that night and then the wedding on Saturday.

Fun with the Photo Booth

So Saturday night at Scott and Stephanie's wedding, they had a photo booth set up. This is the first time I have been to a wedding with an actual booth! It took 3 pictures, then printed them out for you as a memory from the night. It was awesome! Cami and Syd were in there taking pictures with everyone that would go in with them! :-)

Yesterday my cousin Scott got married. The morning started off a little stormy, but the day turned out to be beautiful! As always, the girls were really looking forward to dancing the night away and they did just that! My girls definitely love to bust a move on the dance floor!
